This photoshoot was organised only days before and actually shot on Valentines Day! I really wanted to incorporate the Valentines colours of reds, pinks and tints of both those colours. I thus decide to use a white backdrop. I used one main source of light and a reflector, which acted as a fill light and separated the subject (myself) from the backdrop. I placed a red gel onto the reflector too, giving the backdrop that reddish/ purplish illuminance, also giving the side of my face some colour. I, of course incorporated a red dress with red hearts; this brought out more of that Valentine feel. Conclusively, I’m super happy how these images turned out!
